Ilford staying in the ESL

Recommended Posts

It's got to be easier for Ryman 2 to argue a case for having ETFC than for having Ilford. ETFC aren't in essex, so being in the ESL perhaps isn't appropriate. The ground has recently been graded (and I presume is good enough for Ryman 1). I also suspect that the Ryman League would have been keener to bring in ETFC in order to boost crowds...etc

Seeing as it isn't a promotion it is irrelevant who finished higher.

And I am afraid that half the FA are in God's Wonderful Country at Keith watching Non League England getting beat by Ireland.. hence the reason why yours truly has not been able to come out with definitive information and has to rely on the same media as your goodselves - call lines and forums ... what a life .. and all this in the Cricket season - up the Saltires !

It comes to something when the current thread is all about badmouthing and apologies.

Hasn't anyone anything interesting to talk about.

F'rinstance if I were a Foxes supporter I'd be spitting blood at the unfairness of the Ryman 2 acceptance fiasco and if I were a Towner I'd be biting my nails down to the quick about being voted in to that same league.

Thank gawd my team will be participating as usual in the gentlmanly ESL next season.

Wouldn't it be fun if an ESL team won one or more of the major non-league trophies next season.
