welling raid chelmsford again

looks as though Lay, some other bloke (Street?) have signed for welling. Kepper nichols is also rumoured to be going. Reckon that could seriously dent city chances next season. Dover have also hit financial problems& there seems an exodus of sorts going on there. Hendon seem to be in disarray. Feeling more confident by the day

Surely you don't really lack confidence? I'd expect to you see BTFC as a top five finisher.

 

As for our chances, we'd be quite content with a being in the top ten next season, though making the play-offs (or even the top-spot) would be great.

Interesting fact (or maybe not).... Of next season's Ryman Premier, the worst goals for records are:

 

Kingstonian 40

Braintree 41

Chelmsford 46

Harrow 47

Billericay 51 (Mostly Danny Hockton, natch!)

 

Obviously the top scoring teams came from the old Div 1s: Yeading and Cheshunt both scored over 100 as did Slough. Whoever, out of last seasons Premiers is considering challenging for honours is going to need more goals. (Incidentally Northwood came out best off with 65, although their best striker left midway through the season).

Early days yet... Interesting to note, looking around at other clubs' mesage boards that nobody seems to view themselves as promotion favourites - yet <img src="/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

We're in good shape at the moment, but we do only have 6 players! Roll on August <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Only managed a massive 4 goals in our opening 10 league games, so it's a wonder we ended up with a total of 46!
