although not officially recognised by the club, the Supporters Association is NOT and will not be disbanded!

In the club statement it said that the S/A had withdrawn its financial support from the club. True.

What it didn't say was the that it was withdrawn twice, once at the Christmas period when it looked like the club was on the verge. KP even told ian day to hold onto a £500 donation as even he didn't want to see supporters money going into a black hole,(the money eventually went to the club!) second time was during a meeting at the Northern Belle when it was decided not to pay any more money to the club until the issue of the Stagecoach bill was considered. This was at the exception of John cooppers marathon run.

those that were there (including many that are now on the new committe at the ISA) agreed that the sa should not pay anymore money into the club until it was sorted.

I now believe that IAn day has paid the full outstanding account to stagecoach, this was done by using what was remaining of the s/a funds, plus £800 of his own money! So in actual fact the s/a has paid over £600 towards the stagecoach fiasco and ian the rest.

Watch this space!

whoever wrote it (obviously not the club!) , it does not change the content which I believe to be accurate.

but if whoever did write it wants to come out then let them, this forum does allow annonimity and that should be respected, not seen as the chance to rubbish anything people have to say under the "anon" banner.

I believe that you may have misinterpreted my request. I was merely trying to establish whether this was an official club statement. Any visitor to this forum may take it be so, in the same way that a previous post from "Margate Fc" appeared to indicate that the club were to consider a drop to the Kent League as a valid option. This is not true, so it's up to people to interpret this anonymous posting as they see fit.

we are a multi user office sharing a network, there are two MFC supporters here and plenty of others that take the piss out of them, so although it is the same ip number it is not necessarily the same person!

Come on you Whites.
