Well, there's this football match, see, and a man in blue taps the ball to another man in blue...

 

...95 minutes later the man in black blows his little whistle and a load of scruffy herberts run on the pitch with a big flag and generally lark about with the men in yellow, then they all go off and there's a bloke wrapped up in the flag left on the pitch all on his own.

 

Quite a poignant ending really, nearly brought a tear to my eye. No commentary either but plenty of 'noises off', which gives it more atmosphere .

Not technically true, Rob. I would guess that approximately 114 minutes after the man in blue taps it to another man in blue the man in black blows his whistle...

 

Much larking was had, and the atmosphere...well...something else, basically.

 

Are the clips on the web taken from the video? If so, I'm guessing you can hear some random Bedfordarian shouting 'it was straight at 'im...it was straight at 'im' for our penalty, yes?

Strangely enough, there are no shots of half-time. I would have thought a few from the inside of the bar would have been er, 'interesting'.

 

The tape lasts over an hour and is pretty good quality (on the whole). The clips on the web are from the tape but the video quality is better.

OK, I've checked, it is 85 minutes long. The only bits cut out are when the ball is not in play, like after one of George Clark's goal-kicks (sorry, George!).
