Good stuff in the Observer today, whole of the back page and a two page spread inside devoted to the Mighty Saints.

 

I particularly like the 'Watts the story, Conference glory' headline too, wish I'd thought of it first.

Interview with Steve Castle "Preparing for next season. Talking to new players on the telephone all the time. It never stops" etc [These people don't know they're born - they should try my job].

Brief reference to PSFs. Charlton Atletic, Luton Town and Millwall are "all but confirmed". No reference to Watford, however.

Yes, odd that. Maybe old news. I'm expecting to hear from 'the man who... etc' about PSF's unless he's on holiday.

There was something in the Watford Observer last week with details of the Hornets PSF's. They are playing Northwood on July 20th[?] as at thank you for the signing of F. Scott Fitzgerald and they are going on a pre-season tour to Ibiza. A couple of others but I can't remember the details.

 

It must be O.K. for the 21st. It says so on the web-site and Webbo doesn't make mistakes like that. Well. Not very often. Apart from "Richard Goddard signs and commits his future to The Saints" but that's a minor administrative error that anyone could make.

There are rumours that the club will finally come out of administration this week and a consortium headed by Bill Tomlin is expected to take over.
