Congratulations to Peter, and everyone involved with the Town Matchday Programme - the Romford issue was highly commendable too. The consistency of effort over many years by Northwood and Jane at Hoddesdon is quite incredible.

I'm always a bit confused by the wirral survey....It does seem to rely to much on the ammount of information in programmes ,relevant or not.

My brother played for Hoddesden a few years back, and even though the programme was packed with info, much of it was not really relevent and much of it was just photo copied from local papers and league handouts, also it was just loads of photocopied pages stapled together.

I'm not taking anything away from the hoddesden programme and other such programmes,an awful lot of time and effort goes into producing them, considering how few are sold .BUT no way in the world are they better than the ETFC programme.

Quality of print ,paper, photo's or the quality and relevance of what written never seems to be taken into account.

Make that a win-double for Enfield Town, because the ET Ladies programme was placed not only best in league but best Ladies programme nationally too. Well done to them.

Is there a website with all this info on it?

Well done Enfield, if we had kept our "gold & blue, old & new" page, I reckon we might have edged it.

Unfortunaltey the writer of the said page got another year older and lost one too many brain cells to think up the material. He could be on his way to a job with the Sun in a few years time.
