Not sure if you saw this, but Ian has kindly set up a Ryman 2 forum, maybe that ETFC and Ilford will move over there during the summer

My folks always told me not to go swimming after a heavy meal and you can't get anything more tastier than a feast of ESL, so please relax awhile, take in the post season air and wait for the F A big wigs to settle a few anomalies before "diving" into waters new !

....and how ridiculous if the FA sanction a Ryman invite, the invite is accepted and then the FA overrule the sanctioned invite!

Exactly.......the plot thickens. And what if after all the huffing and puffing the league decide that they want to keep their clubs if they get no-one in return and fight tooth and nail for them? Which I may add they have already stated that they will do.

There was an note in the Evening Echo last night saying effectivley that all clubs the had been publicised as being in Isthmian 1 should have been in Southern Div 1 East and vicky verky.

 

When will this c&ck up ever end?

I think this one was such a shock to the system that the Press got it all wrong and I bet Great Wakering, Tilbury, Aveley , North of the River Rovers etc etc never dreamed they would be in the Southern League - well they are !

Never rule anything out. Stranger things happen at sea, as they say. I understand that Friday is d-day for "sorting" all this out although all clubs then have 14 days to appeal if they wish.

The more this goes on, the more I'm glad we didn't bother with any of this nonsense - not that we are any the wiser as to what we will be doing next season!
