Has this match been definitely confirmed?

 

Are we playing a first XI, a reserves and firsts mix, youth, or something else? Any idea of the ticket prices?

Not confirmed by anybody yet, GHA, and probably won't be until a day or two before the game, that's the way these things work.

Only asking as I saw the game in amongst the fixtures and results page. Which, it would seem, means the game has been confirmed, against Watford (presumably first XI).

 

Don't want another Lewes - Bedford - St. Albans - Chalfont St. Peter scenario again Rob, that's all.

I'm sure most people wouldn't want to pay £10 just to see a Watford reserve / youth side take on The Mighty Saints.

 

And besides, the crowds from this season's PSFs weren't exactly huge, were they?

GHA, just to clear a previous point up, the game has been confirmed (which is why it is on the fixture page) but the team has not [been confirmed. As yet. Which is why it says 'XI'].

 

I seem to remember a four-figure crowd the last time we played Watford. That should cover the first month's wages.

I seem to remember that Watford sent their 1st team two seasons ago and the crowd was a very respectable 1800 or so.

Watford's programme for the match v Reading last weekend noted that the match is a reserve team friendly. So don't expect many first teamers!
