Whilst as non directors/shareholders and mere fans and thus not entitled to know, does anyone actually know date of shareholders EGM (not the SA meeting),so we will have a good idea probably a couple of days later,of what decision re:league/status etc. has been made.

oh no not the Kent League

Conference national, conference south or even kent league. We still need our ground back and that is /should be our uppermost thought.Without getting back to hartsdown its immaterial which league we are in.But obviously the higher we stay the better but its the ground, our ground, the one that the council need for other things, that we should be concentrating on and not which league. Whatever league we play in the question still remains. . WHERE DO WE PLAY! Theres only ONE place to play home games and thats in our own back yard and no-where else.We have been away for far to long.

But is not the point of the meeeting that such an option is not realistically available short term, so rather than making obvious statements, the clever post is what can be done to assist in correcting the situation and what the best short and medium term alternatives are

But how?

Needs funding-and that is only linked to the commercial development.

and time

Even if funds for ground alone were there-it would still take 9 months to get detailed design sorted and build completion so minimally we need a one year groundshare, and probably two in practice to give time for commercial development to get planning and for the whole thing to be sorted properly-there will be alot of time spent on legal aspects aswell

We can build the ground starting from tomorrow. That has been confirmed to us and to me in person by the council, even the man himself mr.ezekiel so all thats needed is someone to put in the nessasary cash to have this done.Dont know who will but it should be the council in my view. The plans for the ground inside where the rubble is is not a problem, just getting someone to fund it. COUNCIL COUNCIL COUNCIL should do it to prove their words of support for the club.

Just hope you don't have to wait as long as our rivals the Darts. It took their local council many years to wise up to the idea and after years of nomadic existance the council has last month confirmed they will be funding a 5,000 stadium to take the Darts back to the borough for the start of the 2006/7 season.

It does happen, just hope it doesn't take you as long to make them see sense.

Hope you hang in there, and looking forward to next seasons games
