I presume that the Supporters Club A.G.M. is still on for tomorrow, Thursday May 13th at 7.30 in the clubhouse as previously advertised?

 

A great chance to have details of the way the Club will face the range of challenges that next season has in store. I recall that they are looking for new Committee members, including a new Hon. Sec.

 

I, for one, can't wait. [For life in Conference South, that is. I'll be at the AGM, as well, of course.]

It is indeed the Supporters Club AGM this Thursday evening, 7.30 kick off in the clubhouse.

 

I believe it was advertised in the last couple of programmes and has also been in the local press and on the notice board in the clubhouse.

Could someone please ask whether my ban was for a year a life time or just as long as Gibson is at the club. I would really appreciate it.

 

In my favour you can tell them that i have

 

a) Not tried to get into the ground while i have been banned.

 

B) I've stopped drinking so much.

 

c)I'm going back to University which will mean i'll be alot more sensible.

 

d) I havn't been in any fights, scuffles etc.

 

e) I havent said a bad word about any of the players or the commitee.

 

f) I'm the leader of the largest firm in the conference South.

 

Any chance of the secetary job in fact.

 

 

When is the next chance to buy city merchandise i want about 10 city cups for going a way presents for people at work.

I shall be pleased to mention your application for the position of Secretary of the Supporters Club at the AGM tomorrow evening, EFM_C.

 

However, whilst I have no authority in the matter, I suspect that, firstly your imminent return to University, and secondly the current 'Banning Order' prohibiting your attendance at Clarence Park will limit your availability and the opportunity to carry out some of the duties of Secretary of the Supporters Club.

 

These factors are likely to count against you, but well done for putting your name forward.

 

I'll ask the chap who runs the club shop about cups [mugs?].

As for you list, I think you should consider a rewrite, and append or adjust the follow:

 

(a) I've been out with my girlfriend so can't be bother to attend games.

 

(B) I'm still drinking a lot but I've found I can handle it a lot better.

(d) Only three scuffles on Saturday and was ejected from the ground. What happened at halftime with that scarfer?

 

(e) You probably have but can't remember it.

 

(f) Can't argue with you on that one, mate.

Hi Claire.

 

As I recall, the Supporters Club Committee are a pretty democratic bunch so it would need an election if the candidates are you and EFM_C, and, indeed, anyone else who may be in the frame.

 

[i suspect it would be a vote on the night, in person, Claire. No question of anyone registering 137,000 votes via the web-site like someone did for the PotS last year.]

 

It might be a good idea to check the role and duties of the Hon. Sec. with that Chairman of the Supporters Club chap before putting yourself forward to stand for election, however.
