Apparently, Margate have had their plans for a further groundshare with Dover turned down by the Conference and now look likely to be placed in Conference South with Kettering beng switched to Conference North.

 

No doubt there will be appeals but it could be yet another seaside trip for the new season.

 

Didn't we do a pre-season there one year?

No!!!! I was looking forward to my trip to the seaside! Anybody know how that affects Conference One? I assume Leigh RMI will get a reprieve and be staying up.

Yeah it does actually. Seaside trips to Eastbourne, Weston, Weymouth and Bognor as well as piss ups with friends at Hornchurch and St Albans.

 

Then again Exeter, York, Hereford and possibly Shrewsbury could be good pissed up trips.

There is a distinct lack of seaside at any of the places you mention there, Yellow. You can keep Margate though.

Suppose the only seaside trips we'll get are Scarborough and oh yeah, Morecambe, long treks though.

 

Shrewsbury on a nice day by the river is very pleasant and there are some excellent pubs in both Exeter and York. Hereford is also a nice city.

 

Anybody know anything about Tamworth, Accrington and Halifax as places to visit? <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

The point in going to these places is to drink yourself stupid, get into an argument with their stewards and then get lobbed out of the ground. You should have no trouble at any of the grounds you mention.
