Word has it that Mr Happy ran the 10k race yesterday in aid of the Mayor's Charity. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I have it from a reliable source that it took him 55 minutes to cover the course. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Apparently, he would have been quicker but stopped on numerous occasions to light up a cigar!!! <img src="/images/graemlins/shocked.gif" alt="" />

thanks guys! you're all heart! Now hand over the cash you sponsored. If anyone else wants to make a donation then let me know. The money is going to a cancer charity and one in aid of teenage stroke victims.

I know how you feel Mr happy and Sergeant D, i too took part in the 10k run completed it in 50 mins and 16 secs (which may i add had the cheek to shout 4 at a group of golfers as they were teeing off don't think they were best pleased),i must say it had to be one of the most toughest runs i have done, the weather made conditions a nightmare.. but all for a good cause, Hats off to all the people that particpated..

Yeah i admit i do play midfield but at my old age i am very limited to the amount of grass i can cover on the pitch!!

 

bring on pre-season looking forward to it!! 10k runs twice a week till then!! might be the oldest player at the club but defiantely the fittest
