[Old Hack]

I notice from my eerie here at Canary Wharf that several prominent signings are being made subject to medicals throughout this week.

 

Damion Searle, a pacy left sided attacking wing back, good in the air and strong in the tackle, previously played for Hull and Stockport.

 

Kirk Jackson, Yeovil and England NL Centre forward, fast, strong and a proven winner at conference level.

 

Simon Wormull, ex Stevenage and an england non league international midfield creator with an excellent range of passing and who also scores goals.

 

And more to come I hear as Garry Hill goes for the Championship at the first attempt.

Well that's my code blown out the window,

 

I have everything crossed that these guys join a strike force of Dougie and Kirk would be lethal in the Connie South next year.

 

A defence back four of Searle West Southon Mustafa would be be a great defensive back four.

 

And i have only seen Wormull play against us but his quality shined through in a pretty poor performance by Stevanage plust he is brilliant on Championship Manager.

 

Speaking of which any news from the club about Jamie ? Is he signing a new contract ?

well don't forget Mark Venus who is a very good central defender...and I mean good and also Lee Mathews who when fit has a lot to offer...

 

Jaimie is already under contract for next season U so he'll be around don't worry...not sure about the full time thing though...that could be a stumbling block perhaps...we'll see...

He's not at Chesterfield as he only played a few games for them before being released my contact said he was "a steady left back but not a match winner". We will have to wait and see on this one could be a mercenary!
