It was Brilliant!!!!

There has been a lot of crap on and off the pitch this season and some of I'm still not happy about but when that whistle went on Saturday it was like nothing else mattered.

Despite finishing 19th we did acheive our objective for the season and I don't think anybody would of swapped them 2 play off games for finishing in the Top 13 (except maybe 1st)

I was great to see fans there who had gone missing that season and supporters who vowed never to come again, Derek Brown even came over and shook my hand, it was really like everything was alright again in the club.

Steve Castle has work to do and, to his credit, he did say a few months ago that he wanted the chance to build his own team and not use Steve Cooks, slowly he's done that and we've seen an improvement over recent months and maybe we should judge him again next season when his team is in place. Our 39th best manager ever has some climbing to do

And to echo the sentiment from Jkif in the original post, we have some [****!!****] ace fans, good people, passionate people, quite a few drunks but with no malice in them, you only need to look at the amount of praise we get on these boards from other fans to know this, I hope John Gibson takes note because we are entering a new era and wouldn't it be great if the supporters/board/manager and players all pulled together for a great 04/05 season. If the board/manager and players can keep their side of the bargin than we'll have the crowds and the atmosphere back at Clarence Park!

That was a party political broadcast by the EFM Party. Good on you EFM.
