Ladies survive relegation

Brunob has just informed me that Enfield Town Ladies drew 1-1 this evening, thus relegating M.Tydfil ladies. Kelly Townsend put Town ahead before the visitors set up a close end with a second half equaliser.

It was a great all round team performance which saw the whole team named man of the match with a special mention for the Keeper Jo Ayre who was superb and had no chance with the equaliser.

A large crowd saw a very entertaining match thank you to all those who attended and also those who supported us here but try to get to the games in future please.

Yes thanks to everybody that turned up it was wonderful to have such backing in what was a crucial game. We know we have a lot of work to do in pre season and next season to stop us being in such a position again next May

 

I'd like to particularly thank Michael for all the work he puts in which helps keep the mens and womens sections in contact with each other.

 

For those of you already bored in the closed season the under 13's are playing in the League Cup final this Sunday 12.30 kick off at Denham Utds Ground, ‘TheDen’, Oxford Road, New Denham, Uxbridge Middlesex UB9 4DW

 

Opponents are Luton Town Belles

 

The Under 13's are already county cup champions so we are hoping for the double.
