Hi,

 

As league changes start to take place, I will begin the long procedure of making changes to reflect the new set-ups.

 

If your team is outside of the Conference, Isthmian, Southern or Northern leagues and your team is in the wrong league - please let me know the league that your team will play in NEXT season.

 

I will be starting at the top and working my way down. But as I try and fit this in around my normal work, then I cannot give any time-scale - but I will do it as quickly as possible.

 

Each team will get revised navigation, with a customised top section.

 

Please always link to this site as http://forums.nonleague.com/YOURTEAM - please do not include any other numbers in that address - this is because those numbers can alter from time to time. (for example if your league changes, or I need to re-assign numbers) - the address method above will ALWAYS work.

 

The only exception to this is if your club has been given an address like http://sacfc.nonleague.com - if that is the case, then please use this one - this easier system will slowly get rolled out to other clubs.

 

Bear with me, during these changes, which will get completed asap.

I have started the LONG procedure of moving all the clubs, that have changed leagues.

 

Depending upon which link you click on, you will either find your club forum in the correct group, or not - gradually these will all be straightened out.

 

At the moment, I only have the team/league info for steps 1-4 - which means many lower leagues are not going to be correct, until I have updated info. If you can help in this respect, please let me know.

 

We have over 800 clubs in the database, many of which have to be linked to new leagues, so please bear with me....

 

We have also introduced a few new league forums of late - these can all be accessed via the forums pull down menu - the new ones include forums for Isthmian 1 & 2, Southern Eastern & Western and Northern Premier One, as well as of course the new Conference South & North.

 

Clicking on the Conference forums links will take you straight to that forum, whereas a 'Conference Teams' link, will also show all the clubs within that conference division that we host.

Okay - a lot of changes have been made....

 

I welcome feedback from people, who have either the wrong forums showing, invalid links, etc.

 

Side navigation is hopefully correct for non-customized clubs - however for any club that has got it own navigation, then this will show up your old league info. This will take time for me to go through.

It is generally looking pretty good Ian, though a few times I've had page can't be found messages when refreshing. I'm sure that will sort itself out though. Good work.

 

Found a broken link on the main bar i.e. Admin, Ryman Premier Forums etc.

 

The Slough Forums link is http://forums.nonleague.com/slough but that is one of the page cannot be found affairs.

I have added many new links into the league forums, down to level 5/6 - these show leagues on the same level, above and where possible below, as well as any club forums we host in that league/division.

 

Hopefully this will improve the navigation around the leagues for folks.

 

Please spread the word, as it would be nice to a) host more club forums get more football supporters on here. The more the merrier.

These will all change shortly to the default http://forums.nonleague.com - why?????

 

Well starting Monday, I begin the task of upgrading the software here - and essentially if I have different core code on one site, than another things will error out. Once we are stable, I will re-do the sub-sites.

 

You do NOT need to alter any links - as everyone should find be re-directed (famous last words)

I cant seem to reset my avatar.

I'm trying to upload my previous one, from my hard drive.....so it's not a broken URL.

 

Have tried other jpegs and still not changed....yet.

Do you remember last month, I mentioned that the Ryman League table connected to Braintree Town is showing Northern Conference teams, any chance one of you can change it. As we kick off in 4 days.

Ian, no still getting Kettering etc in the Ryman League table along with Altrincham, Nuneaton and northern conf. teams.

 

It is headed Ryman League table, but none of the teams are in the Ryman Prem.
