I really enjoyed last nights presentation evening.

 

however, why is it that the people presenting the awards was all the same people, there seemed to be a total of 5 people giving out all the awards with over 100 supporters there.

if this is such a big supporters club, why werent there more supporters giving out the awards?

You did too well selling raffle tickets to be allowed to do any thing else,well done young one.

It is the "Lazarou Syndrome" i.e. those in control stay in control

 

Do not expect to break a monopoly, even in a "supporters" run club

The people that run the Supporters Club I think are entitled to present the awards. They also raise an awful lot of money for the Club.

 

Awards such as Managers Player etc are always presented by the Manager or Coach.

 

I always like a "JETS" Member to present the "JETS" Trophy.

 

As I said on another thread, if people want to create a new award for someone then they only have to ask. I might add it takes an awful lot of preparation to get the Presentation Night up & running, in fact we are already planning next Seasons one, you have to get Venues booked up well in advance.

I am sure that all will agree that Saturday evening was a great success. Well done to all who organised it and thank you as well! Even Mrs Happy (who rarely comes to games) had a good time and hopefully may get more involved in the future.

If Tigerfeet would like to present something next year then no problem, we asked different supporters if they'd like to present a trophy this year & they all said no, we can't ask everyone or guess those that want to do it.

Just one question,how was it dad and me got a fivers worth of tickets each at the same time but between our tickets one was missing,and the missing strip came up?aint bothered just confused and VERY amused.

yeh, think it was the first people i sold to, billy cove and family, wanted strips all over the place, got very confusing.
