Dave is a legend and characters like him ease the burden of running a league through all the political squabbles etc. Over the years we have met many dedicated fans and Dave is no exception. The best story I heard was at Stony Stratford in the Cherry Red. Having heard the draw was to find his beloved Town at Epping he ventured all the way to Stonards Road, to "check it out" before returning to his Dulwich home .. a scenario, I understand, has been repeated many times when a "new ground" comes up in a cup draw !.. great !

Not only that be he gets to mid-week home games at about 4pm to make sure that he doesn't miss anythiny(?).

WIthout doubt he is the Town's number one supporter & makes more sense than most of the rest of us!
