I think he should have got something for coming all the way from Dulwich EVERY game.

I think it would have been good if he presented one.

 

I'm not sure that the football club presented a single trophy last night? This event is run and paid for by (the other) supporters group (which I'm also a member), and it was an enjoyable evening.

 

I've never been quite sure why we need a supporters trust and a separate supporters club? I think it is a cultural legacy from EFC days.

I understand that the supporters trust is an incorporated body whilst the club is best described as a partnership.

 

In other words the trust can be sued as an individual whilst an individual of the club has to be sued as representing the partnership. The trust can own property (shares) whereas the club cannot.

 

But I may be wrong.

What has all that got to do as to whether david should have got a little something for his support over the season considering the long way he has to travel, it would have been nice i think for the players to have got him something, or am i just being to sentimental

What exactly did you all come on this post for ?

I think Dave is Enfield Town's number one supporter and that he should have got something for his dedication to the team.

He even sat at the door last night collecting the tickets and I bet he did'nt get anything for that either!!

Totally agree that it would have been nice to see 'Beardsley' to get an award.

whats more important a award or a tread dedicated to him. This would seem a bit odd but what about making him a mascot for a preseason game?

Nobody who got the Presentation up and running got anything, we all do what we do because we love ETFC & thats is why Dave travels so far to watch virtually every game, because he loves the club too.

 

 

I do know from time to time he does get a treat or so from some of the players, & as he get treated so well by every one at the club I think that is enough.

 

But there is always next year. Maybe some of you other supporters can organize something, you are more than welcome to.
