Yeah a cracking game - the tension at times was almost unbearable !

 

Shame it had to be Bedford that had to make way for the Saints. It's an easy ground (for me) to get to and they seem to have nice bunch of supporters.

 

Don't want to rain on our parade but suffice to say that Castle has a lot of work to do in the break - a new defence and a passer of the through ball in mid-field maybe ?

 

Anyhow lets enjoy our moment of success and look forward to the brave new world (or Conference South as it's better known)

would like to add my congratulations to all at st albans, particularly fred and eamesy. but especially to efm. chuffed to be visiting clarence park again next season for a decent beer.

congratulations on your win, were all pretty much shellshocked and cannot believe how our second half fell apart. I knew our defence was dodgy all season but we just simply fell apart. I think we all knew that Bedford were going to win at half-time, but bloody hell the second half was heartbreaking. Good Luck in conference 2, and please sort out your off the pitch problems, you very nearly didnt make the play-offs!!

 

Nice meeting a member of the EFM today, had a laugh in the bar at half-time making a lot of noise
