Wonder how many people turned up at the wrong match/ground today after all the faffing about over who would be playing who?

According to someone on the bedford forum there were people who turned up from lewes, unaware that lewes were playing at the pan. Been a right mess.

I went to Lewes this afternoon and there was between 1500 to 2000 attendance - their anouncer said 1062 but this was miles out as the ground had people standing all round, the seating was full and the new stand was full which made it a realy good occasion.

 

Bumped into Brighton Rebel and his mates.

 

Not many from Kingstonians, but enough for some singing.

 

Very good game and Lewes deserved the win - only goal scored in the 38th min

 

Dom-Jean Zepherin made an outstanding save just before half time.

 

First half Lewes just had the upperhand, but second half Lewes were unlucky not to extened their lead.

 

Nearly forgot the little b*tch in the tea bar needs to learn some manners and customer service skills as she "does not start serving till 2.00pm" - after all that it was the smallest and

thinist burger in the Ryman

Apparently, BFR, some fans of all four teams went to the wrong venues, and some fans of the 'home' teams turned up expecting to see different opposition (according to the Isthmian website) A right [****!!****]-up.

 

Quite surprised so many people turned up to see Lewes though, with only just over 24 hours notice - can't complain about a crowd of 1,000 + at this level can you ?
