Ryman 2 - 2004/05

Recommended Posts

Who says so????

Judging from the way things keep changing from day to day on another's site wouldn't bet on it. This morning's NLP was scathing in its editorial over the way the Ryman play-offs have been changed, and like I said before all will be revealed after the big meeting on Sunday.

Foxy - can you confirm that Ilford have also been "invited"??

The situation regarding an Ilford "invite" is the biggest mystery since Agatha Christie disappeared-I have conflicting viewpoints on this issue and wish that someone had a definitive answer for poor old Mr Chairman cos, all this Ryman 2 / ESL malarky is doing my head in ! On top of all this, folk are saying that Sunday will clear it up but Sunday is really about Promotion and Relegation. So, I suppose once that's all sorted, Mr Ryman will be in a position to do his "inviting" properly ...sorry folks but you will never get me to say anything other than this has been a right rum "do".

So Barking & East Ham to ESL.

Enfield FC aren't good enough for the ESL anyway!

I think we will be, as you will find out next season... the difference in class between say, Yeading and London APSA is huge.

And we weren't the only side to concede 8 goals to a Ryman 1 side this season were we?

One - Yourselves versus our youth team(about the same standard as our first team now). We lost 4-0. That suggests to me that if we lose by 4 goals to one of the better teams in the division, then we must be able to compete in the league as a whole. Didn't you say you came to the game vs. Berkhamsted? Would you say that we wouldn't be good enough to compete in the ESL? Only there are quite a few of our boys who go to your games when we are away that have suggested that you would do **** all in R1. I couldn't possibly comment on that.

And I've seen about 100 games in the SSML, which of course is at the same level as ETFC.

As 'your boys' have probably only seen ETFC play at Brimsdown (the worst pitch in the world) i don't think they got a true perspective of how well we can play.

Regarding what i saw as Berkhampstead, i would say that you had three players as good as Towns players, three that were of a decent standard, but the rest should have been knowhere near Ryman 1 let along the ESL.
