Tomorrow's Dream

When Jim Parmenter left Margate FC people thought it was the end of us, but we carried on.

Back in January on that horrible horrible day at the council decision, some of us didn't even think we would be watching our team at Barnet, but we did.

People thought that we could not finish the season and under the passion of KP we have done that.

playing 42 away games people had us down for relegation and at the turn of the year it was highly likely, but we pulled ourselves up through adversity and finished a respectable 16th

Tomorrow we face adversity, and i wish all the directors and staff luck again, but come win or lose tomorrow (as there is no draw in this one it seems) i speak for myself but hopefully for others as well when i say no matter the out come, i will always be a Margate FC fan, and one day if not by the end of tomorrow, football will be coming back to Margate in the form of OUR football team

all the best tomorrow.

"The report from the Environmental Health Manager highlights concerns about the proximity to nearby houses and the possible impact .......on those properties.

From the Thanet Council Press Office two weeks ago.

What major construction could be going on that could effect the local population effecting the residents wellbeing and value of their properties(and warrant the visit of half the council and the costs involved INCLUDING COUNCILLORS OVER INFLATED ATTENDANCE ALLOWENCE)???

No not some industrial site nor even a football stadium, but the construction of 3 skateboard ramps in a park in Ramsgate.

How caring of the Councillors to worry about the electorate, or is it just a money making scheme for them.

If Councils want to save money why not cut all allowences paid to the Councillors then we will see those who want to stand for the benefit of the community and not just as a second income.

As I recall westwood cross had voters and householders who were against the building of the cross yet the council allowed that to go ahead and got all the residents out and all this done in double-quick time.SO WHY ARE THEY SO CONCERNED FOR THE HARTSDOWN RESIDENTS UNLESS SANDY OR OTHER MEMBERS OF THE COUNCIL EITHER LIVE THERE OR HAVE RELATIONS LIVING THERE OR HAVE A VESTED INTEREST IN SOMETHING OR OTHER THAT IS ABOUT THAT PROXIMITY.
