How about the Bracknell number nine....rang rings round our defence in the last two matches

Undoubtedly, a higher fan base and a Chairman willing to under-write the club's finances must help the situation, but I think there is more to it than that...

The lad Crittenden from Bracknell might be worth a go if he is available.

Is it local for him so he has a bond with that club? Yes.

Has he resisted previous move for him? Probably.

Does he want to come to a club where the pressure on him will be more intense due to the larger crowd and the expectation of the fans? Maybe.

My daughter phoned from Southampton last night, she had been talking with a Woking fan who said that Woking had signed one of our players. She asked whether Ian Hodges had a nick-name (both my daughter and the Woking fan had had a drink or two and couldn't remember any names). I suspect they might have been talking about Chopper. Anybody got any news on him?

This is what I was talking about... all these rumours flying around about other clubs pinching our players and our best ones at that... and no-one really knows what's going on. I really hope Harris stays, we need to retain the majority of the side from this season who did so well, especially when they looked so gelled together after Christmas.
