How pathetic. I was over at Roots Hall the other day and there is a picture in the bar of their lucky last minute goal against us! Like it was the greatest moment in the clubs history.

Funny how all these Southenders make themselves feel 5 years older (10) by calling people pikies. What's funny is going through the back parts of Southend (Or any part..) and just seeing the state of it... And the women...

 

I dont live on Canvey, I don't care what you say, Southend are a boring team to support... Canvey are great to watch, even when losing, and we don't go and support the other team (Unlike numerous occasions watching Southend.)

Maybe the reason we look rubbish to you is because we have been on a massive slide since we went down from *AHEM*Division One, and we are just coming back from the crisis we had, don't worry you Canvey fans(secret Southend Fans) we shall be back in the First Division soon so you can then come back to us.

The reason Canvey resembles anything like a good team is first because there is money, and second because you're playing [***!!***] teams!

The reason you see people wearing canvey shirts on southend seafront is because they were on holiday. I always take my shirt when i go away this year it will be New York last year Paris the year before new zealand.

 

to those pikeys who don't know of these places they are what is known as overseas not a bus ride away.

 

Like we would be worried about a little club like yours, when you take your tandem to away matches canvey will rise above sea level.

I wasn't 'faking' it! I just happen to have a very detached view of the Southend - Canvey rivalry and want both to do well.

 

It reflects well on South-East Essex and it's about time we all had something to shout about football-wise.

 

I'd much rather we have derbies in the 2nd or 3rd Division than the occasional friendly or cup tie.

Don't forget that Castle Point council is thinking about the same thing. Sell Park Lane for housing development for a million quid and put some of into the new stadium. What about the pledge that Park Lane recreation area was given to the borough for sport and recreation, not housing. We need to be careful in what we say to Southend about selling assets.
