In the programme notes on Saturday it said that Hornchurch was backed by an investment company and that they had 12 fulltime pros.

 

Any idea which investment company this is and how do they make it pay?

 

I just find it difficult to believe that money can be made at this level of football, particularly when you have fulltime players.

 

Perhaps I can knock them for a few quid to convert my loft?

Well hearing this news may have answered one question I had after Saturdays Game.

D&G Defender Lee Matthews was there watching with his missus. Could he be a guest of Gary Hill and a possible summer signing? or Was he invited by Jeff as one of our signings?

 

Personnally I think he would be a great addition to either squad (preferably Canveys' - I think we need more at the back for next year) He was conference player of the year 2 seasons back very experienced.

Brayley had two spells with our local rivals Heybridge and both times he kick started their season, and going from Results, they suffered once he left.

I would of thought most clubs would want him. (Obviously not conference level but Ricay, ourselves, Chelmsford and Heybridge)
