I'm going - getting a lift from AFF.

He usually leaves early which means we get there for about 6.30pm, so I can get stuck into the booze for an hour or so in the bar before the game!!

Yellow, Ian_W and LMU are allegedly going.

Should be there about 6.30 myself as Ian has kindly offered me a lift, so I'll see you in the bar, Zeal for a couple of beers.

Spoke to LMU tonight, she'll definitely be there. <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

morning AFF .. yes i have one of those auto thingy gear blah things..

it also has two buttons one of which is for driving in snow which means its goes thru the whole gearbox before you reach 20 mph the 'sports mode' button is more amusing enabling the vechile to stay in 2nd or maybe third if its feeling generous untill you run out of petrol.. naturally it has enough electronic crap piled into it to make a space shuttle look sparten, but i doubt it can compare to the teutonic engingeering masterpiece of bismark dimensons that i have had the pleasure of travelling in

Laz can't believe you mentioned us in the same breath as Dunstable, that is truly the worst football ground I have ever been to, a triple whammy of disapointment, horrible ground, horrible fans and horrible town. At least we've only got half a point out of the three (our ground not being brilliant, look I'm trying to be unbiased here).

Good luck against Heybridge tonight, though I can't say I wouldn't mind playing St Albans next season.

Sorry, Steve, Chesham is one of my favourite grounds, and a visit there would be the highlight of next season if it goes wrong tonight. I know where the ground is in Dunstable so I can imagine the sort of people that go there. Not nice.

So, Steve, you don't fancy a trip to Heybridge tonight then? It's going to be a massive forum get together.

Do you remember about three seasons ago, in the last week of the season, when we went down to Grays, and lost 0-6 (yep, only six this time!) on a pitch that was covered 60% with water?

I think the reason was that the game had to be played whatever, as it was last game of the season, and all matches had to be finished by that Saturday.

I feel tonight may be the same situation, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Ryman FA put extreme pressure on Heybridge to stage the game whatsoever, so that the season can be wrapped up by Saturday.
