Hi,

 

We have introduced a new system here for dealing with users, who choose to be disruptive or abusive to other users or members of various clubs etc.

 

Instead of banning people, offenders will be moved to 'Alcatraz' - you will find yourself viewing this one forum - and unable to view/post in other forums.

 

Before being incarcerated, you will receive a single warning from a moderator - if you do not heed that warning, then that moderator will request that you are moved to 'Alcatraz' - this will need admin approval - but an admin will PM you to inform you how long your restriction will apply for.

 

You will then find yourself able to post message to this special forum - which will allow you to converse with fellow inmates

 

Restrictions will apply for 24 hours, 2 days, 4 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 2 months, 4 months, 8 months etc., the more an inmate goes into Alcatraz the longer the period of time will be.

 

Anyone who has been warned over the last 24 hours by a moderator, admin or club official, will have already be deemed to have had that one warning

 

There may be several people in Alcatraz, or you maybe the only person - you will only know that when you arrive.

 

One final point admins have the final say - and can if required move someone straight to Alcatraz without warning - however this is likely to be for short period of time to quell a situation, or for a very serious breach of the forum rules.

 

Hopefully no one will get moved, but tempers can get frayed - and who knows you might enjoy the odd stay there - but remember the period of time will increase upon each visit.
