Great turnout for a midweek game with serious doubts about the weather.

Good banter at the tea bar when a Windsor fan was spotted and somebody asked

'what are you doing here?'

before he could reply, somebody else shouted

'he's come to see a crowd'.

Well done to all the south coast fans who turned up, and the Barmy army for sticking it out in the rain without cover.

I bottled it and went and stood under the cover, the atmosphere there was like a mortuary. I think W+E should use our rent money to erect a couple of rooves behind the goals.

I also stood under the covered stand for some of the first half and it was like a mortuary - much better behind the goal in the second half. Agree about the cover behind the goals but I can't honestly see Windsor putting them up - hopefully we won't be there forever, and what's the point when you only get 140 at home on your last game of the season when you are near the top of the league? If we are there next season lets buy some gizabo's!
