I was looking through my mum's black record things the other day (to which oint i found my Caravan of love single!!!!!) and noticed she has alot of Beetle and John Lennon black records. I wonder if they could sell for anything?!!!!!!

Claire, the white album was released by 60s liverpool group called The Skiffles. Up until they released that album they lived in the shadows of The Beatles but that album gave them they're lucky break and propelled them into superstardom both here and in the USA.

We really do need to get a record player so that she can play them, as she has the Police's album, and i'd really like to listen to it!!!!

 

Oh, and she has Gilbert O'Sulivans' single that i'm named after!!!!

 

I still aint heard it though (only the chorus which anyone who is old enough to remember it will sing to me!!!!!!!)

Claire - the first Now album came out in 1983 (I own it), not 1981.

 

A mint White Album, original pressing (with number and group name embossed on the fron) with poster and photos still intact qould probably fetch around £75. I had mine stolen.

Well its has NOW on it and the year 1981. Has a load of 80'2 song's on it funnily enough!!!!!! A

parently there's one particular song that i used to kick to when my mum was knocked up with me!!!! She has always said that i was dancing to it!!!!! I suppose i was protesting that it sounded like sh@t and she should turn it off!!!!!

Probably Now 1981 which was released in 1999 as part of the "Millenium Collection".

 

Certainly it wasn't released in '81.
