This is the beggining of a second bad day!!!!!!!!!

I left the house at 7.15 this morning to get into work for 8am as i heard on the radio that there was a hold up on the M1.

I've only just got into work and it's now 9.10!!!!!

Which means i have to work through my lunch hour and i can't go shopping for new shoes!!!!!!!

Oh God!!!!!!! Honestly, i know everyone thinks that i'm thick as sh@t but i have no idea who Dick Turpin is (is he like Sherlock Holmes?), i'm assuming that he's a detective? and the announcement on the radio this morning said that there was an accident on the M1 at J 6 or 7 and the M10 was closed off and everyone decided to travel to St.Albans on the A5.

Is it just me?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try trying to get into London knowing that all stations past Kentish Town closed, only to get to Kentish Town to find that's closed too, and then sitting on a stationary train outside it for ages while they try to siphon everyone out a side door in single file. Good ol' Thameslink. Worth every penny.

I knew that they were closed!!!!!!! Kentish town and Blackfriers were closed due to flooding and Kings Cross was in a bit of a fluff as well!!!!

Wrong Claire. They announced that the route between Kentish Town and Blackfriars was closed, not the actual stations themselves. Although I suspect Kentish Town may have been closed because of overcrowding. All because of flooding in the Kings Cross Tunnel, which has happened many times before - unfortunately
