also is there any place in 21 st century society to celebrate some one who fought a dragon.. i mean the dragon bit just gives it away it cant be real there are no dragons,.... apart from in some welsh valleys and maybe china.. while im on the subject why does everyone go bonkers about a bloke who supposedly removed all the snakes from ireland, its an obvious fabrication probably made up by guiness . some people are sooo gulible

He is about 20 countries patron saint as well.

St.Alban is obviously the way forward.

June 22nd last year me, Costello and Big George were out on it, we did a cerimonial rolling of a head like article (a ball basically) down Hollywell Hill (as it was metal, in hindsight it could of been a bit dangerous had it hit anyone, it picked up some speed)

Unfortinantly most of the residents in the pub's didn't have a clue what day it was

Should've sent them to live in Hemel in exile!

I understand that he is about 20's patront saint, but i thought we were supposed to have one that is ours, and only ours. it's as though George is playing away from home with all those other countries and it makes me feel sad!

Also, why is he the patront saint for Bakers? Doesn't make sence!!!!!!!

I think St.Alban, who is England's First Martyer(?) should be our man. After all he died for what he believed in, and is of course only devoted to England, and is not hopping into bed with all those other countries!!!!!

And i don't think he likes Bakers!!!!!!!

Dear oh fking dear.

OfficeWoman comes into my office and tells me it's St Georges Day and says she hopes I'm wearing something red and white like Nik downstairs.

I'm sitting here in my England shirt, and totally oblivious to it, she looks at me and says, "yeah, you're kind of in red and white but you have blue on you as well so I suppose that counts."

Suppose that counts?

I'm in a fking England shirt, for God's sake, woman. Open your fking eyes.

All the men in my office have gone to the Grovner House Hotel for a St Georges day luncheon. They've left me on my own in the office

I wanted to go, but they said it's men only. Just because they can drink as much as they want for free. I mean i can match what they drink any day!!!!!!!!!! It's not fair!!!!!!!

(Still can't find anythin about the explination mark though!!!! Loads about the question mark and commas and how you have to use a double question mark when using American punctuation!!!!!)
