Yeading 2-3 Slough Town Res

Miller said before the game it was Yeadings first team making an appearance which makes the result even more impressive.

Slough started with ten men after Adrian Browne and Mark Bartley were late arriving. Browne made it in time to start, Bartley didn't. Yeading capitalised and took the lead. Bartley restored playing number parity about five minutes later.

Slough equalised through Riddell's shot from the edge of the area, and took the lead through a Riddell penalty after Seedel had been brought down in the box.

Second half saw Slough extend their lead after a Miller shot was palmed toward Seedel who finished calmly before Yeading pulled one back with four minutes left.

Yeading had more chances in the game, but either failed to hit the target or shot at Des Buckingham in the Slough goal.

A great way to finish the reserves campaign.

Team was: Buckingham, Browne, Gyoury, Riddell, Hyatt, Williams, Miller, Seedel & three triallists. Old man Denton came on as a sub after Freddie pulled a muscle, and we had another triallist come on in the second half for one of the triallists who started. Should get the names and that tomorrow.

Game was somewhat overshadowed by a large number of Sliski's illegitimate children who spent the entire second half trying to nick the yellow football. Shame on them! Or is that shame on me for being nutmegged by one of them? Or shame on their dad, German Liam, for taking control of the ball and ruining the game? Neverless, good turnout for the final reserve match of the season. Now time to get ready for Saturday.

P.S. if anyone is at a loss as to how Sliski and German Liam were both their dads, it is because Dom very kindly ascertained that the kids were caravan dwelling, Yeading inbreds with nine fathers. More fantastic research from the Dom!!!!!

Here we go again - more childish postings nothing to do with our beloved Rebels. I come home from a hard days work and go on this website hoping to be informed about a match regarding our team and once again all I read are personal messages that are of no interest to me or any other Rebels supporter. Why not have your own website for your conversations and leave this to the supporters who only wish to read about the best team in the world - Up The Rebels - now and for evermore.

Here we go again - yet another anonymous post from Mr Canal (silent C) moaning about personal and childish messages left on this forum. Frankly anon, you are really starting to test my patience. This is a forum, a utility for discussion or indeed conversation, not the one dimensional information service that you clearly would prefer.

You say that when you came onto this website you hoped to be informed about a match regarding Slough Town - is Gary's summary at the start of this thread not sufficient for you? The subsequent messages are relevant for the dozen or so supporters who went to The Warren to watch the match. I am sorry that you were unable to join us but please do not bemoan those who did for discussing the events of the evening.

Finally, regarding your suggestion to start a different website so that this one may be only Slough Town related - can I point out to you that the very people who you are suggesting should start their own website are generally the same people who provide information to this forum. Do not bite off the hand that feeds you.

Back to the personal messages - Radders, Liam may have something to hide, but at least he doesn't post anonymously or criticise regular forum contributors. Up the Rebels and long live this forum - a place for open debate and discussion for all Slough Town supporters, and whoever else passes through.

Radders, are you now suggesting that we should start random posts to go along with the random clapping?

If so is that not what you have been doing for the last couple of years?

Also on your Leisure sports HND (avoiding work course) did they not teach you about paragraphs

I just thought I would add a random post , just to keep the numbers up.

I don't just like reading the Rebels match reports, I like all the banter that is posted on this site as well, because that is what life is all about and that is having fun.

Enjoyable reserves game with some decent banter, not the sort of thing Mr. Anon would enjoy. Surprised he even bothered opening the thread.

Worried the CSA are after you Liam?

Now for the seriosu stuff of a twenty mile walk and the chance of securing a top six finish to maintain our current status. Come on you rebels.

Google had 1240 hits...

Eventually found the answer:

Ser Iosu was one of the lesser-known Knights of the Round Table.

He arrived at Camelot towards the end of King Arthur's reign, after a heroic pilgrimage from Persia. It is said that with his foot, for the whole journey, he propelled along the ground a small round leather bag filled with straw...
