Hungover after the Canvey game? You're giving me something of a reputation, Mal

Steve Harris (Iron Maiden),

Will he be bringing his West Ham Bass Guitar with him?

I might just go to that simply to see him, (I have an Iron Maiden football shirt )

Been thinking about the last game vs Canvey.

It's gonna be a bit "tight" to say the least in that bar of yours. Do you reckon that they will let us take the beers outside after the match? [if it's not p'ing down of course.] Otherwise, where's the best place for a beer? The Jelico's [?] a dive aint it?

If I'm having a beer at the Canvey match then that might be a train job - uh oh!!!

As it's the last game of the Season we're usually allowed to take beers outside the bar and all the players will join us.

It seems a Tradition now for anyone under 14 years old to invade the pitch once all the players and officials are in the changing room and have a little game of their own!!

However the nearest Pub is the Admirial Jellicoe which you will see on your way to the ground, it's within walking distance of the Car-Park. I've only been in there once with the St. Albans lot, so I suppose it's only a dive if you don't have any fans with you! Be sure to warn them to put extra barstaff on though if there are more than 10 of you!

Hmm Jellicoe isn't too bad. Could have a beer in there before the game. I'll talk about it with you when I see you Saturday, Mal.

that could be a good celebration at Canvey if we can nick second place.....a full bloodied essex knees up on the pitch afterwards.....

maybe a canvey v's urchins supporters match followed by a barbeque on the pitch which is coming up anyway....

we'll bring the dancing girls....

We're gonna have good knees up with plenty of sherberts and jellied eels even if we DON'T make 2nd spot, Unc.

We've had a great season...had plenty of laughs on the way...watched our lads play great football for the bulk of the season...and had the terrific cup runs which finally saw Hornchurch make the sports pages of The Sun [glory indeed - lol].

Get ready for MAY DAY MADNESS!!!!
