hornchurch under 18s today won the ingilby cup beating witham town under 18s 1 nil. the only goal of the game was scored on 67mins by captain sam williams

hornchurch won the ingilby cup today in driving rain strong winds with a goal 13 mins fron time from captain sam williams.

 

the game was played in great sprit by both teams and on the day hornchurch were worthy winners.tony maynard.regan panzu.and jeff shepard all had chances in the 1 st half but the witham keeper saved well.with the wind at there backs in the 2 nd half hornchuch slowley started to take charge but could not find the killer goal.panzu. maynard.and doyle all had shots well saved. the only goal come on 77 mins when sam williams headed home a jeff shepard corner.this was a great team display by hornchurch and with 2 15 year olds in the starting line up the future is looking good for theses young stars
