Max POints Table

Thanks for the update, Gary.

The Whyteleafe result ensures that these seven teams will take the top seven places - Bromley have only two more games to play and now cannot catch us.

As for which order - who knows? There are only seven points separating the seven teams; Lewes and Windsor are on 87 at present, but could still be beaten by any of the others (except Staines)...

I'm not going to have any fingernails left by the end of the season!

Update, following tonight's useful results...

1 Lewes 96

2 Worthing 94

3 Windsor 93

4 Slough 92

5 Hampton 92

6 Dulwich 89

7 Staines 87

Staines can no longer catch Lewes (as if <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />)

Slough could still overtake them, if they win all three games, and Lewes lose both theirs - but that's fairly unlikely...

Last significant games: Hampton-Worthing (Sat) and Slough-Worthing (Tues)

Nearly there chaps...

Penultimate update, getting rather easier to calculate now!...

1 Lewes 96

2 Worthing 94

3 Windsor 93

4 Slough 92

5 Hampton 89

6 Staines 87

7 Dulwich 87

[Only significant game: Slough vs Worthing on Tuesday]

Unless Lewes lose to Banstead (unlikely), they'll take the title.

However, if Lewes lose, Worthing could take the title if they win both their games.

Mathematically, Windsor could also still take the title - but they need both Lewes and Worthing to lose, and they also need to beat Croydon Athletic by 16 goals....

...hmmm, maybe not!

As for Slough?

One point, one measly point, should be enough to secure a top six place. (Or, for the pessimists, no points needed - but would need Hampton, Staines or Dulwich to lose next week.)

However, a win for Slough over Worthing on Tuesday would guarantee top six placing.

Hold tight, it's gonna be a bumpy ride!

COME ON YOU REBELS!!

Last update this season...

1 Lewes 96

2 Windsor 93

3 Worthing 92

4 Slough 90

5 Hampton 89

6 Staines 87

7 Dulwich 87

...which is, not surprisingly, rather close to the current order in the league table!

Lewes (or Windsor) for the title - see previous post.

Slough could make second place still - if Windsor and Worthing both lose on Saturday (and Slough win...)

One match to play, and Slough could finish in 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th place, depending on the other results. (6th/7th mathematically possible, but very unlikely - see new thread!)

What a terrific end to the season!
