I wonder if there number 5 and keeper will make the team at Villa park. I thought the saints showed some good touches today and left with a sense of hope.

The first half had a distinct 'end of season' feel about it. Even when we went ahead Canvey didn't seem too bothered - their keeper was saying something like 'so what - we're champions'.

 

Still a good performance though, and a cracking volley by Oakesie, and a few old faces on the terraces came back for this one.

With 4 Strikers out injured, 2 Defenders in reserve and a couple of Midfielders to spare we could have as many as 9 changes!!

He was. as was I at end of the game. Some tanked up [****!!****] not of Snorbens, of an age group that should know better was haranguing (word for GHA to look up) Gibbo and was very insulting. Apparently this had been going on throughout the 2nd half. So I don't think EFM will get the blame for that one!
