Now that so [***!!***] and so disspaonting especially after Mondays performance th3y then go out and play lije that the first half was appoling. In the second half the players had a good half and looked interested and played some good football but it proved to late after after a0 total non apperance in the first half. I felt for the penalty that Steve Jones was fouled outside the box but were where due a bit of luck after some of the decesions this season. With the tommo header I felt he done everything right he could as he headed the ball down and it was jsut sheer bad luck. As for their keeper his level of time wasting was absurd and pathetic the ref is in the middle to deal with utter ballox like that and frankly he failed to deal with it and allowed thier keeper to take the utter piss out of him for a good 90 minutes today. Now we are left reviling on Northwood failing to beat Thurcheat very least that bunch of [****!!****] cheats owe us

......... Anyway, back to the game! I'm extremely disapointed with todays result. Before the game, I was so confident that we would get all three points and make our way out of the relegation zone. We weren't really that bad in the first half, apart from the last 10 minutes, where we were awful. I think that we didn't deserve to be 2-0 down at half time as we created some good chances.

In the second half, we were much more livelier, and had numerous chances. When we were awarded with that penalty, who would of even thought to have bet against Danny to put that away, and when he missed I just couldn't see us getting back into it. With the amount of chances we had in the second half, we should have won something like 5-2! I was completely stunned when Tommo missed that header, he's been great for us recently he didn't deserve that to happen to him. I'm not quite sure what happend when Leon missed that oppertunity two yards out, did he not quite make connection or was it just a terrible shot?

I thought Stowey did well when he came on, I've always rated him as a good player and I thought that he should have definately started instead of KK, who didn't impress me much again today.

Luke wasn't too bad I thought, good to see him actually try to head the ball today, even if he weren't always successful!

So we are now 22nd in the league, our last two games are both must wins for us, and even then we will have to depend on results elsewhere.

other results have completely [***!!***] us over. how the hell did albans conjure 4 goals in the second half against c*****? and hitchin won away from home too. as above said 6 points is a must and a bit of luck with other results. i wasnt at the game today, but having seen both the bognor game and the trip to park lane, i was enormously confident of a result today. i thought if we played that well in our last 3 (or 5) games we'd definately be playing in conference south next year. now were really gonnna have to pull something out of the bag in the remaining games. i hate to be pessimistic but with our inconsistency of late i just cant see it happening. my prediction is a non result against grays and itll be all over. ill probably be criticised for being negative, but i was really confident after a wonderful performance on monday, we played some excellent football and it looked like we could do it. just seems we cant string results together. someone said after monday that it would be for nothing if we didnt get a result on saturday it would all be for nothing. looks like thats the case now.

so disheartened now, but hey, at least we might win a few games in the ryman premier next season

I wasnt surprised at this result as we have been our own worst enemy on countless occasions this season.

In the first half we went AWOL and gifted Kingstonian two goals with some schoolboy defending down the flanks.

We played in the second half but unfortunately you cant afford to give anyone a two goal start then miss penalties and two sitters from about two yards. Fair play to Luke he took his goal well and we had the opportunities to get something from the game but it wasnt to be.

Kingstonian were a poor poor side and although the mathematicians will have their slide rules and calculators out and say we are still well in it, we have once again blown a golden chance, and it looks as though we will have to face Grays without our first choice strike partnership as both are injured.

Team

Weaver

Henty Sappleton Trott Taylor (Bauckham)

Tomlinson Hunter Dormer (Jones) Black

Hockton Opara (Stowe)

Not sure if that was who subbed who cant remember

snu: Davidson, Aziz

The first five minutes of the game and I thought, "we're gonna steam roll over this team", then their first goal was scored and I felt a degree of panic creep in. Two down and our heads were down and we appeared to (almost) throw in the towel.

2nd half and we came out fighting. A hat full of miss chances (jeez, Hockers shot that hit the wood work was hit with so much venom and power, it left me wondering how the hell the ball stayed out of the goal) and the crowd were wondering what could've been half way through the half......Bauckham smacked a good goal to bring us back into it but alas too late.

The time wasting tatics of Kingstonian was some of the worse I have seen this season. The worst incident was their no. 7 dribbling away with the ball for a couple of yards after the ref had blown up for some offence and refusing to pass it back. Then again, you can complain about this until you're blue in the face. Until the officials actually do something about it and punish the players who offend in this fashion, it's gonna happen all the time. And the officials this season have been either crap, bent, weak or doing drugs, I rest my case on this point.

Overall, we beat ourselves. Two mistakes gave Kingstonian the opportunity to score and as jl said, you can't give teams a two zip lead and expect to be coming up smelling of roses at the end of the 90 minutes, despite the 100% improvement in the second half.

Overall I was not superised by the result. The goals where all from the right wing due to,two School boy mistakes by Taylor (i think). We had many opportunities in the 2nd half, but the ball just didn't want to go in the back of the net. Chances fell to Danny, KK, Leon and Graeme.

Did Hockton go off with a hamstring problem?

I don't think it is possible to translate the ramblings of c'mon ricay at the best of times, after more than 10 years of knowing him he still doesn't make a blind bit of sense to me!

Add to that fact he'd been drowning his sorrows after the match with a bottle or two of Martini, a translation is near impossible.

On the way to the game I was gutted that I'd forgotten to log on to Skybet to put as much money as I could on a 'Ricay win...

As it happens, the first half was a dream. We had our most creative players back in wide positions and seemed to be confronted by a defence who simply couldn't clear their lines.

The second half was torment as you came out some gears higher and we got sucked back more. From the other end of the ground I thought it was a clear penalty we gave away but people closer to the action disagree. I thought we should have had one ourselves near the end. Great goal, but that's all that would have beaten Lance on his recent form.

As for time-wasting, I notice we were passing time towards the very end. And not as ridiculous as you say. Lets not forget that the referee was making it very clear that he was stopping his watch every time - 5 minutes stoppage time in first half (for injuries) was then followed by 7 minutes at the end of the second.

Massive result for us, and as Mark says, our form has been appalling - was expecting to drop to bottom below Aylesbury in the form guide, but as it is we stay 23rd!!

gutted. Why cant we perform against teams in the bottom half? we have have given 3 points to a lot of teams this season but in recent weeks we have given a lot to the teams we really really needed to beat. On saturday we gave away 2 goals, sadly one player was responsible for both.

Its not impossible to get out the bottom 4 but the lads have got to put in the performance of the season against grays. we may have to rely on other teams results but we must do our part and that means the lads have to make up for letting themselves down in the first half on saturday.

I think it is a bit unfair to just blame Sam Taylor for both the goals, they were a shambles from start to finish with numerous mistakes made.

Hockton's injury seemed to be more thigh than hamstring.

As for time wasting, I like to think we would of done the same if the situation had been reversed.
