Enfield Town Ladies--final game

Recommended Posts

Don`t forget that we end the season on sunday with a relegation battle,a true six pointer, against Merthyr Tydfil. 2pm brimsdown.

Please try to attend and back an Enfield Town team.

Unfortunatly we now know that it against regulations to allow free admission so now it will cost £1 (max £2 ) including a programme.

Todays game was called off just after 1 o`clock.

There was puddles on the pitch which wouldn`t go and then it started to rain again.

The coach for the visitors had gone away with the driver due to return at the end of the game so all they could do was hold a light training session and wait for it`s return. At least we fed them while they waited.

No new date for the game yet.

I ubderstand that the only teams allowed to play on the ground are ETFC, ETLFC and Brimsdown Rovers first team. If Bromsdown Sprts and Social Club are going back on this agreement then the matter must be dealt with.

The new date for this has now been set as 9th MAY

Merthyr should have played their other two games by then and what is needed will be clear.

I've always said we need a goat who can keep the grass in order because there is no full time groundsman. Mind you, if we had some grass....... Roy does a great job under terrible pressures, but let's give him the resources to do an even better job.

I hear the Sunday working party is scheduled for Sunday at 10.00am.
