I thought the ref had a good game yesterday, especially when he allowed play to go on then booked one of their players (Though some of our fans not familiar with the rules behind the goal still abused him for it) The Booking tally reflects the fact that Windsor players were playing a physical game. (Or to put it another way leading with the elbow at every chance)

 

My concern is that if we meet W&E in the B&B cup (Thats if they qualify ) will we get some local ref who is unaware of the history and the afters from this match?

Agree about the referee though. Could be 'tasty'.

Have you not noticed how when we go behind the moaning starts, then the complaints about the ref and the linesman then every player is criticised when they make a mistake.

 

I prefer to take a positve attitude.

It's difficult sometimes when the team aren't playing well to take the positive attitude (Bracknell & Casuals away) but I wholeheartedly agree and do try and encourage it both on here and behind the goal.

 

Let's face it though, Abid Hussain and Sticky apart, every official, win, lose or draw, is going to get stick from a Slough fan at some stage. Surely you've had a go at some poor offisde decisions! <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Your quite right, but at least I am in a position to judge the offside decisions, not like those behind the goal.

 

But back to the ref I seem to remember we have had some real plonkers in the cup. Last time we played Bracknel (cup) we had the lady ref (sorry cant remember her name) who simply cant keep up with play.

Went to both the games, and she had a decent match each time. Far better than the ones we usually get.
