Forthcoming Restructure Meeting

Recommended Posts

Good luck Mr Chairman as you represent ESL interests at the forthcoming the meeting (tomorrow is it not?).

I suspect that all the ESL clubs' supporters are waiting with baited breath to discover what next season will have in store for us and look forward to your eventual report via centrespot and this message board.

Up the Boro - GBMT Cup Winners.

Many thanks for your prompt reply Mr Chairman.

Will you be entering the hallowed portals of Lancaster Gate for the meeting tomorrow or will it be more local?

No doubt we'll all be watching our various club websites and the league website for the news when it is made public.

Is there a fixed timescale planned for the announcement?

How about the days of hard toe-capped football boots soggy leather footballs and long baggy football shorts.

The days when men were footballers and vice versa.

How they managed to hit the ball so hard I could never work out. I couldn't do it myself.

I once saw a pre cup final match between Young England and Old England at Highbury with the Old forward line being Matthews, Mannion, Lawton, Langton and Finney when Lawton knelt down on his knees to a cross from the right and headed the ball into the top left hand corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area.

Sir, I am not wishing to ignore you but the situation is exceedingly delicate and a synopsis of proceedings is being prepared at this moment for all clubs to read at the same time, which I hope you will understand is only fair. Suffice to say that there were 5 items on the agenda at Jury's Hotel, Great Russell Street, under the auspices of the F A....... Ground grading, which is G to enter, F for membership and E to go up, Restructuring, Adoption? of Regulations, Disability Discrimination Act and AOB. This all took from 11 am to 16.15 hrs to debate and discuss and all 15 feeder leagues at level three were present with two reps from each league. It got very heated .. and that wasn't the weather !

There, folks, that's all I can say at the moment.

yes i agree abbeynut. no disrespect to ilford but the pitch there is by far the worst in the league (not making excuses for our defeat last night, as the same for both teams)will not make for a decent spectacle. surely it would make sense to move this for the teams and the fans.

im being serious, ask foxy. it is by far the worst pitch in the league and not suitable for a cup final. (this is nothing against ilford just a fact). If you get the chance to see a game their before do, because you will not want to watch another game on it.
