The Weekend - CHAVS STAY OFF THIS THREAD!!

Lord

Recommended Posts

Back from a cracking weekend in Madrid, saw Real get duffed 3-0 and sunk a few few cervesas!

Sorry, but can't be asked to read through all these posting, the majority of which appear to be utter nonsence written by the Chavs. Whats been occurring, on and off the pitch? Did go to Carshalton, Aylesbury or Ford as I was away. Who scored, how did we play? Any news on a new manager, any rumours doing the rounds? Any forum gossip?

Cheers lads.

Doing The Rounds ? It's Your Round To Get The Beers In Next Game

We Beat Carshalton 2-0 - Matthews, J Martin

We Beat Aylesbury 1-0 - Southon

We Drew With Ford Yesterday 0-0

You Could Clearly See That All The Players Were Totally Knackered And Maybe That's Why We Didn't Get A Result !

Only went to the Aylesbury game. We were looking a bit tired and lacked ideas.

Great result against Carshalton 2-0 Matthews and J.Martin.

Aylesbury 1-0 Southan. Ford 0-0.

Canvey have secured the top spot and Aylesbury the bottom!!!

No news on the new manager but Gary Hill still rumoured to be the man (he was at the Aylesbury game apparently).

Mags gave some old boiler from Aylesbury a verbal battering (very funny it was too).

Sorry mate that's about it.

Welcome back Lord hope you had a good time.

As for the Managment rumours, Hillsy was at the Carshalton and Aylesbury matches and sat in the stands for the Aylesbury match !

We played really well in the first half against Carshalton a great effort by Bertie hit the corner of the bar and post came back out for Lee Matthews to finish and a great cross by Vinnie for John Martin to get the second. We went totally off the boil in the second half again.

The Aylesbury match was significant as we secured a top 13th position. Wasn't a thriller of a match we missed a couple of one on ones (Bertie and New Boy)but a header by Jamie gave us the win.

The Ford match was a hard contest as the pitch must be the smallest we have played on and very little space for all. Alot of the players looked knackered and with so many games who can blame them. The best chance fell to Abbott who headed over from about 6 yards !

Apparently Garry Hill And Uncle Urchin Are Close Friends ! This Is What I've Heard So I'm Not Sure Whether It's True Or Not ?

I'm Not Sure If Anyone Will Come From Dagenham, They Have A Couple Of Decent Players But They Will Probably Want To Carry On Playing At Conference Level ! But You Never Know

Gary Hill's Gotta Get The Job First !

As briefly mentioned, Lord... Yesterday's ref was very vocal. He was shouting at the players, such as "play on, play on"..."dont start whinging, sonny" etc etc. It was refreshing to have a ref who really was in charge of the game. He tried to let it flow, but Ford were having none of it!!!
