After a season which seemed to be a two horse race,its no longer a foregone conclusion.

 

The current form table of the top 7, shows Windsor and Lewes (1st and 2nd in the league) with the worst current form, and Staines and Slough (6th and 7th in the league), the best.

 

Maybe the top 7 places will be squeezed even further. Could well go right down to the last match for several teams.

As an old timer i reckon the vocal support behind the goal is the best for ages ....

All i could do today was shake my rattle...

if i can get my woodwork mate to knock some up in Slough colours would people be up for some more rebel rattles for next season? Let's recreate the 1930's terrace thing.

Not wishing to kick start the whole Wexham Park debate off again but I reckon if we went back now the vocal support would be much better than before due to having a roof back again. Maybe before, we didn't realise how lucky we were.

That was one of my worries with the proposed new ground. The new design may be cheap and light and airy, but I doubt it will reverbarate sounds like say Aldershots ground does.
