It now looks more and more certain that the top 7 are away and clear from the chasing pack, what with all the teams outside the top 7 having played 42 games (except Egham who are miles behind) and the nearest challengers (Bromley) are 7 points behind 7th (us). What it means is that 6 points from our last 6 games will guarantee us a place in the top 7. If a play off is confirmed then we will at least be given a chance to get into the promotion spots. Goal difference, as has been stated before, could be all important so it worked out quite well for us that Staines having been 4-0 up at the break, in the end only improved theirs by 3 while we managed to get the 3rd goal to give us another plus 2. Really looking forward to the last 3 weeks of the season and am feeling more optimistic having seen the way we fought to the last today. It was completely the opposite to Bracknell or Corinthians where one goal made us stop. Today we kept going and in the end got our reward.
