The Chas'nGreenie show reckoned Andy Drury looked all in & should have been substituted. However, in his post match interview, Andy said Moussa was taken off because he picked up a knock & they'd been preparing to substitute him when he scored.

Shame not to hold onto the 3 points, but one goal is always precarious, however on top you are. All the opposition need is a corner in the dying minutes and anything can happen, as today proved. Still, given Telford's run this week, I'm more than happy with a point.

However, IMO, Andy got it wrong with Drury - he should have been substituted either for Walshe about 15 mins from time, or instead of Sidibe, who had actually found renewed confidence after his goal.....

.....not so much a wannabe Ford as a person stating an opinion!

From what I heard at the end of the game from the reporter on RK he singled out both Drury and Sidibe for praise saying that Drury had run his socks off. Drury was given equal highest mark in the NLP and was described as ever dangerous. He set up the goal so surely he deserves some credit. Sidibe was injured so before you criticise the Manager it would be advisable to get your facts right before giving your opinions!!

But from the start G&N winger moussa sidibe tried his best to gain the affections of the telford following by constantly diving whenever a tackle went in on him. The ref was fooled each and every time and sidibe managed to get the impressive andy rushbury and sam ricketts booked. (from Telfords blind match reporter)

What a load of crap - I think you will find a defender is impressive only when if he tackles someone he gets the ball (like Chris Moore, again superb today)not takes there legs out.

Were you at the game?
DRURY WAS QUITE OBVIOUSLY KNACKERED in the final 15 minutes, as those at the game will testify, so IMO he should have been substituted still. I never said Drury had a bad game so perhaps you need to read properly.

Drury was certainly pretty worn out by the end of the game - it was a pretty fast-paced second half.

Overall, a draw was probably fair. I was certainly a little surprised that Andy started with Mitten, but I suppose it makes sense to see whether he is worth having for next season. On first impressions he looks good - he made an excellent full-length one-handed save in a one-on-one situation in the first half, and smothered the ball well at the strikers' feet on a number of occasions in the second. Also, his kicking looks quite solid (except one complete shank at the end that went out for a corner).
