What a Great Day!

A fantastic day that will live long in the memory. I've just sobered up after the celebrations and have texted a lot of crap to people tonight. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> My apologies!

 

Thurrock didn't seem to know what had hit them! They ran out of pint glasses 10 minutes after the Yellow Army turned up!!

 

Great idea of Chris Gardner's to sort out the shirts that spelt "Champions CIFC" and respect to those who wore the shirts and planned that celebration. Brilliant guys!

 

Amazing scenes at the end. Wanted to do a pitch invasion but nevertheless I imagine a few of us will be making an appearance in Sunday's NLP!

 

Great atmosphere in the bar afterwards when we got back to the Lane. Nice to see Kingy mingling with the fans and from the sounds of it he was getting quite a few calls from opposing managers to congratulate him.

 

Them burgers they were doing behind the bar were lovely. £1 for a cheeseburger cooked on one of them George Foreman grills, absolute quality. Sod the burger van!!

 

What a day and the best is yet to come!!
