lol well i live 10 mins away from the ground lol <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> and i only heard about hornchurch about half way through the season!!

No there getting relegated as it were, it's the same level of football against much the same level of opposistion, ergo it's not a promotion is it? Whereas those who are unfortunate enough to miss the boat, will be playing against weaker opposistion in the main.

Yer right...it's not really promotion....but one would have thought that as the new Conference South & North Leagues will contain the higher placed clubs from the 3 feeder leagues [Ryman, Unibond, Doc Martens...for your info The Hornchurch] then in theory the Conf South should represent a "step up" in quality.

True, in theory the quality may be a bit higher (although not something not already seen in the current set-up) and it does have a fancy new name, but it is still the same level of Football, against mostly the same teams. How can that be classed as a promotion?

Jared..I agreed with ya entirely, it's NOT promotion. It's only a reformat of the league. I just mentioned quality of opposition [in theory] should be better....but we've got the close season to come, and the inevitable exodus of players with it...so who knows. Anyway, Sutton should be playing against HFC next year, so at least I get another chance to admire that kit of yours - lol <img src="/images/graemlins/alk.gif" alt="" />

Nah, i'm only on my 1st year at the moment, i still have a few more years of terriable student behaviour! lol!

Hornchurch youth people, it's NOT promotion. Anyway Braintree themselves rose quite quicky through the Ryman structure a few years ago, all the way from Ryman 3rd to the Premier.
