Top 5 Most Boring Ryman Teams

Recommended Posts

Thinking about this, the awards go to (in descending order):

5. Hendon - what can you say?

4. Harrow Borough - just plain dull

3. Hitchin Town - a local derby, that's all.

2. Heybridge Swifts - where exactly IS Heybridge?

1. Basingstoke Town - concrete, roundabouts and the M3. Says it all really.

Special mention also, goes to Kingstonian/Grays/Ford/Thurrock, your turn will come.

I didn't notice.

However, I did notice that there fans sang "You're going down with the Harrow" for most of the game. I think Harrow could make it though the playoffs, so they're wrong.

One lunatic to our left in the second half was really having a go.

I'm not sure what we have done to upset them, I don't recall any booze trains there in the past.

Grays feature in Rob's special mention list.

Come to think of it, most of the teams in our league are in boring horrible places, are supported by boring people, and play at boring grounds.

Perhaps we should focus on the interesting rather than the boring.

I can't think of any right now, but there must be one or two out there somewhere.

Next season we could be getting the likes of Dunstable,

Oohhhh!!!!!!

In that case, if we do get Dunstable, you can all get on the 343 bus into Dunstable (which goes into Markyate!!!!) and then after, we can all have a curry in the Markyate curry house and get wasted in 2 of the 3 pubs in Markyate!!!!!

Why only 2 of the three pubs?

Why not all of them or just one of them?

Why would anyone from St Albans want to go for a curry in Markyate?

What does the 343 stop there?

Wouldn't it be easier to Thameslink to Luton and Taxi to the ground?

The third pub is at the other end of the village, would take ages to walk there!!!!!

We could do one of them I suppose, although it is a bruisers pub, where the local pikies come for a fight (but it makes great entertainment!!!!!)

I think it's about time that the people of St.Albans got a taste of a different culture, and how us no-so-rich people live!!!! It will open your eyes, it really would!!!!!!

The 343 is the bus that goes from Dunstable, through Markyate, through Flamstead, and through Redbourne to St.Albans (and vice versa!!!)

No it wouldn't be easier to get the train to Luton and then a taxi!!! That would be well out of your way!!!! You can get the 343 outside the train station, and get off in Dunstable!!!! Bargain!!!!!
