If two teams are level on points....

GD first, then goals scored. Quoting further from the Ryman League handbook:

"If two or more Club are equal on points, the Club having the highest goal difference in its favour shall be declared the winner. If two or more Clubs are level on points and goal differnece, the Club with the highest number of goals scored shall take precedence. If two or more Club are level on points, level on goal differnece and have scored the same number of goals, they may be required to play a deciding game or games on a neutral ground."

I was hoping it would take into account the results of the two matches played between the club(s) through the season - presuming us and Staines (1-1 (h) and W3-1 (a)) we'd have been alright if it came down to it!

Hopefully it will be academic...

Slough's current GD is +28 to Staines' +23; Slough have scored 83 (league) goals this season (2nd highest after Lewes (97)), to Staines' 71 (7th highest). So Staines will need to win some seriously high-scoring games for this to be an issue (assuming we end up level on points...)

Either way, all we need to do is keep on winning...

Keep winning and we could be looking at higher than 6th with Dulwich and Hampton playing each other on Saturday. But focusing on the job at hand, 21 points are available and we need to play for all 21. Do that and there do not need to be any other considerations.

Had a look at the Northern leauge and it looks like we could end up against either Boredom Wood, Hemel Hamster (thats what furgus moore was trying to get out of this shorts)or Arseley.

Lets make sure we get at least 6th place to avoid that bunch of inbreeds.
