Slough Vs Bracknell 6/4/04

Recommended Posts

Slough Town will be looking to avenge their recent defeat in the Ryman League against visitors Bracknell Town as both sides come head to head in the semi fianl of the Berks & Bucks Cup. The winners of the match will face either Chesham or Windsor in the final. Come along in full voice to support the Rebels in their final bid for silverware this season. Forget Arsenal v Chelsea, this will be the only important cup match on Tuesday night!

Let's hope the tie will be settled on the night, as with 7 league matches needing to be played by 1st May, a replay will not be a welcome addition to the fixture list.

I noticed at Leatherhead on Saturday that they were showing, on one of the TVs in the bar, a video of their match with Woking. Any chance of us doing likewise if we reach the final? (By that I mean record the game, not show a video of the Leatherhead v Woking match)

That sounds like a very good idea, though I wouldn't want to jump the gun and say we will make the final, we all know what happened when we played Bracknell recently. However, in the event of getting past the Robins, does anybody have the equipment and is willing to film the match????

Looks like it would only cost £80 as well, or £60 if both finalists want it, provided Wycombe allow it, which would easily be recouped. Should we get to the final, I think it would be a great idea. Would it be something the STST could, and would want to, organise?

Unfortunatley it isn't just Wycombe that you would have to ask.

You may also need the permission of the Berks & Bucks FA to record the game. It may not be a problem, but it doesn't hurt to ask
